EuroMillions FAQ
How does EuroMillions work?
You pick 5 main numbers from 1–50 and 2 Lucky Stars from 1–12. Match all seven to win the jackpot, which starts around €17 million and can roll up to a cap of €250 million. EuroMillions is played across nine European countries including the UK, France, Spain and Ireland.
When are EuroMillions draws?
Twice a week — Tuesday and Friday evenings (around 8:45 p.m. CET / 7:45 p.m. UK time, drawn in Paris). Ticket sales close earlier the same evening, with the cutoff varying by country.
What are the odds of winning?
The jackpot odds are 1 in 139,838,160. The overall odds of winning any prize (starting with 2 main numbers) are about 1 in 13. Lucky dips and self-picked numbers have identical odds.
Is a random lucky dip a bad strategy?
No strategy changes the odds — the draw is random. Random lines do tend to avoid popular picks like birthdays (1–31) and neat patterns, so if you ever do win big, you're slightly less likely to share the jackpot with dozens of people who chose the same "lucky" numbers.
Does this generator store or send my numbers?
No. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded or saved. This is an unofficial entertainment tool — to play for real, buy a line through your country's official lottery operator.
